About Blue Nile Restaurant
Blue Nile is a family owned restaurant and has been open since 1994. We have been nominated as one of the best ethnic restaurant among the Houston community. Food lovers will enjoy the unique taste of Ethiopian dishes in a warm and friendly environment.
We serve our traditional dishes with Injera bread that is 100% made of teff. Injera is a soft spongy pancake-like bread made out of teff flour. It is traditionally served in Ethiopia where a variety of stews, meat dishes and salads, are placed upon the injera.
Teff, an Ethiopian Staple, is the smallest grain in the world, yet it contains giant nutrition. It’s high in protein, iron and minerals with a calcium content more than 17 times that of wheat or barley.

“Feast is about bringing a traditional and relaxed European approach to dining to Downtown Houston. We will be offering simple, rustic cuisine in a relaxed, homely environment. Our emphasis will be on quality, local, seasonal ingredients prepared with passion and imagination.
Feast is informal, lively and different, serving great food and wine at prices reasonable enough to become a neighborhood “local” as well as a destination for a night out. We serve the traditional rustic cuisine of the continent on a rolling, ever changing menu which will evolve season by season. We feature organic meats, fresh fish and great vegetarian food. We offer familiar favorites alongside the more adventurous fare for which we have become known and will often feature dishes specifically designed to be shared.
“Our desire is to summon the spirit of a family meal shared around the kitchen table of an old-fashioned European family farm.”
Dinner entrees from $15-22.

The Grove at Discovery Green
The Grove combines contemporary architecture with warm colors and rich wood. The building was designed by noted architect Larry Speck, the former dean of the school of architecture at the University of Texas. Interiors are by SDG partner Candice Schiller.
From its setting on the south side of the park, The Grove looks out to a stand of mature live oaks. The first level bar and dining room have dramatic floor to ceiling glass. The second level features a large outdoor bar floating among the tree tops.
The menu at The Grove by Chef Robert Del Grande will serve up steaks, seafood, and rotisserie specialties. The bar menu will offer more casual far, such as the signature cheeseburger made famous at Café Annie.
